When running a computer on linux and need some isolated outputs (only a few),
without investing in expensive hardware.
If you need some inputs, you could mix the code with tty-control.
Preconditions:
You'll need a free serial line, and some experience with tty-control hardware.
You could use the led's to debug your software.
You'll need some experience in programming, as it is not a ready to use package.
With Version 1.0 (I don't know the date of the release) it will be a ready to use package,
consiting of a server and a client program.
